Can I request a custom order?
Absolutely, however the request must be within reason and enough time allowed for its completion, as some pieces can take hours to days to complete, so please allow for this.
Maille pieces cannot be rushed, so if a piece is required ASAP, then an in stock item is recommended.
Once we have agreed on the actual piece you are after, I will do a special listing on here, then once the item is paid for, I will order any materials required, then create your piece as soon as possible.
How do I know what size to order?
Sizes on listed, 'in stock' items, are for the actual pieces. For example, if a bracelet says, 'Length 20 cms,' then that will mean it will fit someone with an 18-18.5 cm wrist, approximately. You can also tell me if you prefer your jewellery on the snug or looser side.
When measuring your, wrist, neck or ankle for an 'in stock' piece, please ensure you measure at the widest point, using a tape measure (or string and ruler). Then add on 2.5 to 3 cm's for an exact fit.
I will make custom pieces based on your exact measurements, so please be as accurate as possible.
What materials do you work with?
Materials used include, anodised (coloured) aluminum, bright silver aluminum, silver fill, Argentium silver, stainless steel, jewellery brass, copper, bronze, metal alloy, Swarovski crystals, Czech crystals and, as well as vintage and re purposed glass beads, chains and pendants.
I prefer to use 'silver filled' earwires and jumprings, as they are thicker, stronger and less prone to tarnishing than sterling silver, whilst still containing a high silver content. I have incredibly sensitive ears and I find the silver filled earwires to be fantastic!
Are they Australian Made?
I aim to use Australian made materials whenever possible. However many materials used for chainmaille jewellery do need to be sourced from overseas on occasion. The materials I use are of the highest quality possible and are made to last, under normal conditions.
How long does it take to receive an item after payment?
This depends on whether or not your pieces are made to order or in stock.
For a made to order piece - the timeframe is normally 5-10 business days.
Ready made pieces ship within 1-3 business days.
Standard shipping or
Tracked post are your postage options at checkout.
You may use 'standard shipping' at your own discretion, even on overseas purchases, however I strongly recommend 'post with tracking' on higher value items, for your own piece of mind.
Bulkier and heavier pieces will advise you to choose 'post with tracking' at checkout. Multiple purchases will also require 'tracked post' costs for postage are kept as low as possible and all pieces arrive inside an organza bag, with a business card ready for gifting. Padded envelopes are used, with extra bubble wrap as required for more delicate pieces.
What payment method can I use?

There is an option to pay with a debit or credit card.
Paypal accepts AMEX, Discover, Visa & Mastercard.
